Ploughshares is considered to be one of the top ten literary journals in the country. With two issues guest-edited by prominent writers who examine personal visions, aesthetics, and literary circles, Ploughshares has been frequently cited for its editorial quality and dynamism.

Inside each issue readers will find not only great new stories and poems, but also a profile on the guest editor, book reviews, and miscellaneous notes about Ploughshares, its writers, and the literary world.
